TREMPEALEAU -- Roger C. Nosal, 58, of N13451 Schubert Road, Trempealeau, died Monday, Nov. 11, 2002, at Community Memorial Hospital, Winona, Minn.

He was born March 8, 1944, in St. Paul, Minn., the son of John T. and Angeline (Balasa) Nosal. Roger married Katharine Nuttall on Oct. 24, 1961. He had worked at Cray Research in Chippewa Falls and was currently working for Benchmark Electronics in Winona as a Commodities Specialist.

He was a member of St. Bartholomew Church in Trempealeau.

He is survived by: his wife, Katharine of Trempealeau; three daughters, Victoria Nosal and Christine Millard, both of Wheat Ridge, Colo., and Susan (Brian) Johnson of Lakeville, Minn.; his mother, Angeline Nosal of Jim Falls; one brother, Richard (Janet) Nosal of Chippewa Falls; two sisters, Lois (Daniel) Peloquin of Chippewa Falls and Sharon (Norman) Berg of Wheaton, Ill.; four grandchildren, Julia and Mitchell Johnson, Emma Lewis, and Ian Johnson.

He was preceded in death by his father, John T. Nosal.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 14, at Sacred Heart Church, Jim Falls. Deacon Bob Anderson will be officiating. Interment will be in Copp Cemetery, town of Anson.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 13, and until 9:30 a.m. Thursday at the Horan Funeral Home, Chippewa Falls. There will be a Christian Vigil Service at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
