Dear all,
with great sadness we have to tell you that Martin lost his battle with
cancer and passed away peacefully with his family around him on
Saturday.
Martin maintained his great dignity, sharp mind and sense of humour until
the end and will be greatly missed by everyone who had the privilege to meet
him. He was more than a colleague, he was a great friend to many of us.
Arrangements are not yet known, but if anyone would like to send a message
of condolence to his wife Margaret and family please send an email to
Jennie Deeks, jennie at cray.com and we will ensure they are pasted into a card
for Martin's family.
Please pass this sad news to those we have missed on this distribution who
may have known Martin.
